Document summary

Companies are under increasing pressure to deal with underlying risks in supply chain labour conditions. Institutional investors have identified supply chain labour risks to be one of the greatest social concerns. Analysis agains the extended FTSE4Good Supply Chain Labour Standards criteria show that over a third of companies with higher supply chain labour risk exposure levels have demonstrated no action to manage these risks. This report looks at company response to potential supply chain labour risk exposure across regions and sectors. It aims to provide investors with adequate information that can then be used to formulate an investment strategy which helps to manage exposure to such supply chain labour risks at a portfolio level.
