Document summary
12.67% of Asia-Pacific companies publicly disclose complete and independently verified emissions data, but 75% do not. In terms of comparative analysis of regional reporting trends, Australian companies lead with 60% public disclosure, South Korea second (35%), Taiwan third (22%) and Japan fourth (7%). To date no companies from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines disclose any complete data. These rankings highlight that with a few exceptions, emissions reporting in Asia-Pacific is extremely inconsistent. With a third of companies not reporting any data at all, there is significant room for improvement in the Asia-Pacific emissions reporting landscape.
