Document summary

Investors place an increasing focus on geographic risk - with a number of countries and companies facing challenges such as corruption, economic inequality, energy security, food needs, political regime challenges, resource nationalism, social unrest, and water scarcity, among others. This report uses BAML 'Who Does What Where' (WDWW) geographic risk screening tool to examine trends at country, sector and company level to show which countries have made the most or least improvement. WDWW matches country risk across 28 long-shelf-life themes with sales-and-assets based geographic risk exposure for companies. Countries are analysed on each theme in the report.
