Paul Moxey is Head of Corporate Governance and Risk Management at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and before that has been a risk and governance accountant as well as being chief bean counter and company secretary of a few relatively minor companies. He is most interested in the behavioural aspects of governance and risk. Why people do what they do and what would need to change to get them to make systems work better. Paul is a qualified accountant, MBA and Visiting Senior Research Fellow at Kings College, London. He has been spoken at several Long Finance events including the launch of “In Safe Hands: The Future of Financial Services” in 2012 and the Long Governance seminar with John Kay in 2010.
