Document summary

The concept of green investing in Europe is reviewed. Results show that green investing is a significant movement, nearly 90% of respondents considered environmental protection an investment theme and the same percentage planned to do more green investing in the future. The most popular theme is climate change. The challenges to green investing are inconsistent definitions and terminology and a lack of credible standards. Results also show that social responsibility, followed by financial performance, is the driving force behind green investment.
