Document summary

For the last 20 years BAML have conducted an annual survey to assess which factors, attributes and models are consistently used by institutional investors in their stock selection process. The current survey indicates valuation remains the most important criteria and the most popular attribute is simply Low P/E, over 80% of respondents cited this as a key input. Investors also show signs of shifting to longer time horizons, especially as compared to results from a similar poll the previous year.
